In 1780, Yorktown, Virginia was a very important part of the American Revolution. Cornwallis, the commander of the British army, stated that he was getting quite annoyed following Nathaniel Greene and the continental army around the state. |

But that’s when every thing changed. George Washington decided to stop Cornwallis. As they were up North pretending that they were going to attack Clinton to keep the British Army in their position but were really going for Cornwallis who was down south, and once Clinton realized they had tricked them, they had to catch them. |
